Article Analysis

How to analyse your article before publishing
It is a good idea not only to proof-read your article but also to do a article analysis before your submit or publish your article. I have created this short article analysis guide to make the article analysis quick and easy.
1. Article Title:
The article title should inform the reader of the content, and what the article is about. If you intention is to draw focus to your article, make sure the title is catchy and interesting.
2. Source:
Make sure you note if you have used other articles or information, and if possible create a link for the source.
3. Audience:
Are you using any long and rarely used words?
Your article should be written for your audience. If your targeted audience is not experts on the field, then make sure your writing stule isn’t to academic.
4. Subject:
Try going back and read the first paragraph of your article. Is there a connection between the content in the paragraph and the title?
If not, the reader might not read the whole article as the reader feels the article wasn’t what the reader thought it was.
5. Limits:
Make sure your article is written within the limit of the title. Is there somewhere you are getting of track?
6. Opinions:
Your opinion can be relevant or not. If you are blogging your opinion is a great way to start a dialog with your readers. If you are writing a general article about a subject, then keep your distance and try to be as subjective as possible. The reader is there for information, not your opinion.
I would very much like comments on this little article analysis guide especially if you have something to add.

Article Marketing- A Way of Promoting Your Business
Posted on 30. Jul, 2009 by Casper.
Article marketing is a tactic that has been used long before the internet was available. It all started when the printed press appeared. Then people gave free information to the newspapers while they were offered to place their advertisement in that newspaper.
However, the internet has changed the meaning of article marketing. Even though based on the same principle, the online article marketing has developed considerable. Its dual role of providing free information and gaining free advertising space was kept, but the advantages it offers increased significantly.
How exactly the article marketing functions, you will ask. Well it is very simple. There are sites which look for people that will submit free articles. In change they will receive the right to advertise their site/product on that site without paying any additional fees.
These types of sites are called article directory. The more popular the article directory is the more people will see the article and may visit your site. At the same time the owner of the directory will gain more money from advertising.
There are many sites that offer this kind of services. The most visited ones are EzineArticles, GoArticles and IdeaMarketers. However, there are also directories that address to a certain niche. For this reason it is better to search for the article directories that suits best the purposes of your site/product.
Some of the article directories offer the possibility for the authors of the articles to control the whole page, including the advertising posted on that page. In this way the revenue collected from advertising comes to the author of the articles.
People from around the world get to know about your business, site, blog or product via your articles posted on the internet. That is why they need to be written in the best style possible and to represent you in the most appropriate manner.
Make sure that the title of the article is the best you could choose and that it fits properly to the content. Also be very careful about the way in which you express your ideas. Don’t use long phrases or hard to understand words and don’t write articles that are too long. This will annoy the readers and in the end your site will not be visited by any of those that have seen your article.
You should give special attention to the resource box as this is the place where you actually sell your site or product. It should contain your name and the name of the site as primary information. You can also add a small description of the site and an invitation for the visitor to sign up or just go to the specified address.
In order to attract the reader some authors make a summary of their article in which they tell the reader what to expect from it. This is usually considered an invitation to read the whole article and sometimes includes some additional information, which is not mentioned in the article.
If used wisely, the article marketing can bring a lot of visitors to sites. However, don’t exaggerate with the number of articles sent to these article directories. Not the number, but the quality of the articles influences the number of visitors your site will receive.

Three Ways Affiliate Can Use Facebook To Earn More Commissions
Posted on 27. Jul, 2009 by Casper.
Affiliate marketing has been given a tremendous boost with the new social media marketing craze that is sweeping the internet. Social networks such as Twitter and Facebook has given affiliates a little more opportunity when gaining new customers and earning more commissions.
Facebook is a social network, much like MySpace, where you connect, network, and share things in your life with people who you are friends with (I guess you already knew that
). Facebook, once a domain of high school kids and young adolescents playing games and hooking up, is now a legitimate force in internet marketing. Affiliate marketing is no different. Here’s three powerful ways you can earn more commissions with Facebook.
Connect With Others Within Your Niche
Facebook allows you to search for people according to name, network, school, and even keywords is done correctly. Try to search for people within your own niche or topic of the product your are marketing.
Most affiliates market several products so you have two options available to you. You can select one or two closely related products and focus your Facebook marketing in these areas or you can purchase Facebook Ads. These are like Pay Per Click ads on Google, but show up on the profiles of people who have something to do with the topic of the ad.
Start A Group Around The Topic Of Your Affiliate Product
Groups and fan pages are big topics on Facebook right now. And for good reason. They are generally good places to do specific, targeted promotion of products. For instance, if you are an affiliate for a car product, you can start a group for car enthusiasts. When sending notices to your group you can mention your product, or website. Not only do you get marketing, but you also meet others, can connect with them and build strong relationships.
Write Notes
Facebook notes are almost like having your own blog. Whenever you write a new note then everyone on your friend list gets notified. You have the options of “tagging” people with your note also so that their friends are also notified.
Facebook is a great place to connect with others in your niche. But, not only that. If you are into affiliate marketing, those connection can turn into increased commissions.

Proven Tips For Loyal And Responsive Opt-In Subscribers
Posted on 27. Jul, 2009 by Casper.
A large list of opt-in subscribers is an effective way to earn more income through internet marketing. However, how many subscribers you have isn’t the only consideration you should take into account when building a list.
An effective, and profitable, email list should be built around loyal and responsive subscribers. This means that they are not unsubscribing after you send them a few issues of your newsletter and they actually click on the links based on your recommendations. Keeping subscribers loyal isn’t as hard as it would seem at first. Following a few simple steps will keep your list strong, healthy, and profitable.
Provide Exclusive Information
People stay where they are going to receive information that they can’t get with any other mailing list, article database, or free resource such as a report or ebook. Treat your newsletter as an extension of yourself and build it with powerful, exclusive information. You want to think of it as you are building relationships with these people and are their own personal mentor. Give quality information.
Keep Affiliate Links To A Minimum
It is a tremendous temptation to make as much money as you can with each issue by throwing in every affiliate link you can think of. However, the opposite is actually more profitable and will keep your subscribers less annoyed. An effective strategy for placing affiliate links in your newsletter is to either write a review of the product, interview the creator, or write an article using that product as an example or solution. Choose one, at the most two, products to include in your newsletter.
Keep Emails To A Minimum
Some publishers will send emails everyday in the hopes of making more money each day. What usually happens though is they have to continually grow their email list because they are constantly losing subscribers. People will stay loyal to your newsletter if you keep to a strict publishing schedule and don’t throw in extra emails every time a new product is released or you need extra cash.
You can have a large email list. But, the most profitable ones are the lists that have loyal and responsive subscribers.

It’s just like a snowball rolling downhill. The more it goes the bigger it gets.
2. Follow people back
When someone follows you it is always a good thing to follow them back. It doesn’t look good for you if you have thousands of followers while you’re only following a few. Not only will those thousands start to leave, but new followers will eventually slow down.
3. Reply often
The great thing about Twitter is that you can see the conversations that the people you are following are having with those that they are following. The same is true of those who follow you. When you reply to people their followers can see them talking with you. This leads to new followers.
4. Be consistent with your updates
There is a difference between gaining new followers and keeping them. You might gain a lot of followers, but they won’t stay long if you don’t keep your updates consistent. A lot of the people who fail with Twitter do so because they are not being consistent in their updates.
