People all over the world are comming online in great numbers to earn an online income, to help them pay bills or even replace their current employment. There are several strategies people can use to earn money online. Finding the right one for you takes a little bit of time, patience, and trial and error. However, there are a few that anyone, anywhere can do quite easily for internet marketing profits.

Earn money online being an affiliate.

When you are an affiliate you are earning money by promoting other companies products. For instance, companies like Amazon.com offer a percentage of the price of one of the products they sell to people, affiliates, for every visitor they refer and buys something. Affiliate commissions can range from a very small percentage of just a few cents per product to very large thousand dollar commissions.

Earn money online with a private membership site

A membership site is a private website where people can only gain access to the exclusive information inside by buying a monthly membership. This is a great option as you get paid each month instead of a one time purchase.

Earn money online by publishing a weekly newsletter

Instead of going through the process of creating and setting up a membership site you can publish an email newsletter. You have two options here. First, you can charge a small monthly fee for this newsletter. Second, you could offer a free one with great content in it and sell affiliate products in it. A large, responsive, subscriber list can mean big money each month.

Earn money online by offering a service

If you know how to do anything, ie… writing, designing, taking pictures, working with digital video, making software products, setting up fitness programs, have knowlegde about homeschooling, etc., it doesn’t matter what it is… you can offer a service to do it for others and earn an income. Some of it is a lot like consulting while some is actually doing a service (writing, designing).

Internet marketing is available to anyone with an internet connection. Getting started requires a little bit of direction as to where to start. Use one, a combination, or all of these internet marketing strategies to earn an income online.

4 Creative Content Ideas For Affiliates That Get Read!

Posted on 09. Aug, 2009 by Casper.

ideasMost people shy away from creating content for their affiliate websites because they have the feeling that they can’t write. Maybe you feel that same way? Writing fresh content for your website can get a little difficult as time goes on. The biggest block to new content is in the form of not being able to come up with fresh ideas. Here are four content ideas for affiliates that will get read and help you earn more affiliate commissions.

1. Product Reviews

The easiest thing to write about is something that you have used before and have had success with. For instance if you are a fisherman and are selling a specific king of bass lure, you can try several out and then write reviews for each one. This can be both good and bad. I recommend doing both so your website isn’t a love fest for all bass lures. Just write from the heart and give your honest opinion. I bad review will not lead to many sales, but will show your readers that you reviews are honest, and have your readers trust your opinion.

2. Interviews

This takes a little more time, but doesn’t require a lot of writing. Find an expert in your niche and either ask them for a phone interview or if you can simply send them some questions via email. Most of the time they will agree to this because it’s more exposure for them. Then either transcribe the phone call or put the email interview into a readable form and you’ve got your newest article.

3. Top 10 List

This is the most popular form of content there is. Mostly because it is more convenient for readers, but also because they can be quite easy. Just pick a topic, write down ten things about it, and just like that you’ve got another article.

4. Answer To A Question

If you see a question in a forum, on a blog, or in an email you received then simply answer it. Create a well thought out, and thorough, answer to it and post it on your blog or in an article directory. Of course, give credit to who asked it or where you got the question from.

If you are ever stumped for creative content for your affiliate website then just sit down with a blank piece of paper and choose on of these ideas. You’ll have your next article done in no time.

social media affiliate marketingSocial media marketing is the newest form of advertising that affiliate marketers can take advantage of in promoting their affiliate sites and products. No matter what niche your site is in, there is a social network for it. Getting started with social media is not something to take lightly however. If you’re going to market affiliates through it, there are some success tips you might want to keep in mind.

1. Start Slowly

Don’t automatically begin throwing all your affiliate links at your social networking friends. This will label you as a social spammer and you will be blocked. Start slow in your social campaign and begin interacting rather than dictating.

2. Add Value

As you start to add friends and followers to your networks you start to gain influence when you add value. Places like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social networks thrive on information. By keeping involved with people you follow, or are friends with, and adding solutions, and valuable content, you are gaining authenticity and your links will be clicked and less intrusive.

3. Cloak Your Link In Information

Blatant, outright affiliate links are not going to be looked at in a very good light. The best way to earn affiliate commissions through social media is to place your links in articles or blog posts. This way people know you aren’t just trying to make money off them.

4. Be Consistent

Nobody likes a hit and run social networker. The quickest way to make yourself irrelevant is to join some networks, participate, disappear, and them come back again a few weeks, or few months later. Whatever credibility you built up has now since disappeared and you will more than likely find your follower numbers way down.
