Keep It Real

First of all, you need to be sure that you are keeping it real and to the point. You will not develop followers through twitter if you try and sell them something each, and every time you post. Get to know your followers before even attempting to sell them a product. Act like an actual human person and not someone who is programmed to strictly sell your followers a product.

Be Controversial

When you are controversial on certain subjects it will get you noticed. Some will like you for being this way while others will hate you, but eventually you will begin to see your twitter followers grow into a small empire. This empire means more visitors to your website and in return more profits for you.

Not Just Business

Not all of your followers are following you for your business. So instead of constantly posting tweets about your business. Post about other things as well. Anything that comes to mind that is not too personal is a fair game. You need to make sure that it is interesting. However, to make sure that your followers will take notice and will want to read more.

Try Meditation

Take time to think about your tweets. This is very important as you need to be sure that you will not be offending anyone in your posts. Try such things as a quote or some form of humor. These are great attention grabbers, and as a result you will develop followers. The more followers that you gain the more traffic to your site and the more revenue that you will generate over time.

One of the major things that a lot of business owners forget to realize is that people do not come to twitter just to be sold a product. Most generally, in fact, they are looking for quotes, humor, and even videos. Therefore, you need to be sure that you are giving them what they want, things to waste their time with. Take some time to search through the net to find quotes, and humor among other things that will tie in your business in general and post them.
